How amazing was this wedding in Puente Romano in Marbella?
Melissa and Andrew had known each other for over 2 years before they went out on their first date. Even though they fancied each other for such a long time it wasn’t until that one night they went out with their friends for a drink that they realised they couldn’t live without each other anymore. 8 years later Andrew decided to propose to Melissa in Monaco, the place where she grew up. He took her to the flower garden of Princess Grace and popped the question on a beautiful sunny day 🙂
They knew they wanted to have a destination wedding because they simply love travelling in Europe. Marbella seemed like a prefect place to get married! Some of Andrew’s family lives here and the rest of the guests and family in Montreal loved the idea of travelling!
Puente Romano was such a great choice of venue. Pure elegance, lush greenery, beautiful beach, simply put.. a dream place! Both the ceremony and reception were decorated by Pedro Navarro with thousands of magnificent flowers. Pedro and his team have created a truly magical atmosphere! Tara Lorimer, the wedding planner, made sure that planning this wedding all the way from Canada went really smooth for Melissa and Andrew! She took care of every little detail, making sure everyone was well taken care of, and the couple could enjoy this fantastic day!
Melissa and Andrew decided to have the first look prior to the ceremony. It was such a magical moment and the most anticipated part of the day for both of them 🙂 After the first look we took a few formal family photos and also the portraits of Melisa and Andrew.
And during dinner we were able to escape to the beach for a few sunset photos. It was also a great moment for Melissa and Andrew to enjoy a quiet moment together, to reflect on the whole day, and realise how lucky and grateful they were to have all there family and friends together celebrating their love, everyone having the time of their lives!
