Brina and Harry’s wedding in Casa Alegre in Benahavis was special on so many levels! When I first met them both for a quick coffee to go through the main points of their wedding day we ended up chatting for a couple of hours and driving around the village of Benahavis looking for the best photo spots for their portrait session. And I knew their wedding day will be amazing!
Brina and Harry decided to get married in Spain. Brina, being of Cuban origin, knew that she wanted to get married in a hot weather, in a very relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by the people they love the most. Casa Alegre in Benahavis (aka Casa del Rio) is a fantastic wedding venue on Costa del Sol! It is blend of rustic elegance and farmhouse luxury! It is romantic and so wonderfully relaxing. Everybody loves it!
They got married on the front lawn outside this spectacular villa under a big tall tree accompanied by the sounds of a cuban band playing in the background. They clearly had everyone in tears with their speeches!
And the flowers! You have to check out the amazing tropical flower arrangements! I. AM. IN. LOVE! Seriously. You don’t often see flowers like this at weddings! They were so original and colourful and bold! Put together with rustic and wooden elements they created an unforgettable wedding decor.
Right after the ceremony we sneaked out for Brina and Harry’s wedding portraits.First, we wandered around the little white village of Benahavis. Then, we drove up to the beautiful hills where we took photos with some breathtaking background! And while we were out taking photos the guests were being entertained by dance instructors learning to dance salsa! Awesome!
It was an unforgettable wedding that went on till late hours at night. All the best Brina and Harry!
